1970--That was a pretty good year!

My brother, Joe and Me in 1970 at Disneyland. Don't you love the pattern on those way cool pants?

This was my backyard before the pool! You have to love my "cape" and red shoes. That was one of my favorite outfits. Look at my brother's, Joe, Hunter and Richard.

This is a picture on the day my dad graduated from law school. My brother Joe and I are with my dad in the backyard at my Grandma's house. It's good to see my dad's face in the photo. He is joking with me. It's sure hard not having him around to see my own children grow up.

My sweet brother, Richard took 1,000's of my dad's slides and put them on some cd's for me and my other siblings. shortly after my dad passed away. I love it! Every once in a while when I have a minute, I like to look back and see how I looked back then and compare them to how my own children look now! Kind of fun!

So today I have been thinking about "Miss Laura." She will be turning "8" in December and I hope that Daren and I have taught her the things she needs to know before she gets baptized. With those thoughts I decided to see how much she looks or doesn't look like me when I was eight! You be the judge...

ENJOY!

It's funny how my dad, Joe, looks so much like his own father. I wonder if I'll look that much like my dad as an adult too.... =)

"you must have been a beautiful baby" and smart too! I wish we lived closer... or maybe you lived closer, after all I'm not the one in the middle of a corn field.
